Vermont Maple Chili

½ cup real maple syrup
2 Tbsp trader joe’s Chili Lime Seasoning
1 1/2 Tbsp Chili Powder
1 cup peas
1 cup corn
1-15 oz can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1-15 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
½ cup red lentils
1 cup vegetable broth
1 medium carrot, chopped
1 medium zucchini, chopped
1 medium onion, diced
2 red bell peppers, seeded and chopped
28 oz can diced tomatoes
small jalapeno, seeded and minced

Place all ingredients in slow cooker and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours.  I just combined it all in a pot on the stove and heated til red lentils were soft.   Can serve over rice or spaghetti.  I ate it as is and it was delicious.  

PS would be delicious with a peeled and chopped sweet potato.  May take a little longer to cook.  Other add ons, avocado, crushed corn chips, cilantro, red onion all as toppers for serving.
