Chai complete Energy Bites and Smoothie

1 cup water or plant milk
3-5 ice cubes
1 scoop complete (vanilla or chocolate)
1 date (optional)
1-2 Tbsp almond butter or 8-10 raw almonds
1 ¾ tsp chai spice mix (see below)
1 Tbsp coconut or hemp seeds

Complete Chai Energy Bites

1 cup raw almonds
½ cup vanilla complete
2 Tbsp hemp seeds
8-10 dates (pitted and chopped)
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup almond butter
2 Tbsp + 1 tsp chai spice mix (see below)
2 Tbsp water if needed
Unsweetened shredded Coconut for rolling if desired

Process almonds in food processor until there are no large chunks.  Add in all dry ingredients alternating with dates and vanilla.  Remove to bowl and add in almond butter.  If too dry to from ball, add more almond butter or use 1-2 Tbsp water.   Roll into balls and refrigerate.   Can also be placed in the freezer.

Could sub chocolate complete and add 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips.

Chai spice blend

1 Tbsp ground Cinnamon
1 Tbsp Ground Ginger
1 ½ tsp cardamom
¾ tsp ground black pepper
¾ tsp ground clove
¾ tsp ground allspice
¾ tsp fine sea salt

(this is enough for one smoothie and one recipe of energy bites)
