White 'Chicken' Chili (Vegan)

1- 19 oz can jackfruit, drained and rinsed and flake
4 cups vegetable broth
1- 4 oz can green chiles
1- 15 oz can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
1- 15 oz can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1 medium sweet onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
salt and pepper
½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
½ poblano pepper, diced
2 Tbsp lime juice
avocado

Saute onion and garlic in 1 Tbsp water (adding more as needed) in a large soup pot.  Add spices as onions get translucent. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.   Simmer for 30 minutes.   Add  avocado, if using and heat through.
