Sloppy Lentil Joe's

1 onion chopped
1 red pepper chopped
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 ½ cups dried brown lentils (I used red lentils)
1 can 15oz crushed tomatoes
2 Tbsp soy sauce I used amino acids
2 Tbsp prepared mustard
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Freshly ground pepper

Cook onions and peppers in 1/3 cup water about 5 minutes.  Add remaining ingredients and 3 cups water.  Bring to a boil, cover and simmer slow for 55 minutes.  Stir occasionally. If using red lentils this dish will be complete in 15-20 minutes!
